Based on a structured review of existing initiatives, strategic objectives were defined across business areas and functions. In addition, four key enablers required for digital transformation were identified: organisation, processes, people & culture, and strategic partnering. This resulted in an overarching framework for digital transformation.

The Digital Transformation Framework provided a structured foundation and an execution-ready roadmap for the organisation’s transformation journey. It increased transparency across the initiative landscape, enabled portfolio-wide prioritisation, and improved resource and budget steering. AI-related initiatives emerged as a clear area of impact.
To embed the change sustainably, the Head of Digitalisation role was established and cross-functional ownership for priority measures was reinforced.
